Depuis 25 ans, Kylie Walters sillonne les scènes internationales en tant que danseuse-interprète au sein de compagnies de danse ou de théâtre comme Ultima Vez, Forced Entertainment, DV8 Physical Theatre, Alias Compagnie. Elle est conseil artistique à plusieurs reprises pour les chorégraphes/metteur⋅ses en scène Guillaume Bailliart, Nicole Seiler, Davis Freeman, Anne Bisang, Yvan Rihs.
Elle collabore avec les musiciens Sébastien Martel, Pierre Omer ou KMA Rock en tant que singer/songwriter ainsi qu’avec les réalisateur⋅rices Miranda Pennell, Wim Vandekeybus, Pascal Magnin.
Kylie Walters dirige sa propre compagnie de danse pendant 10 ans en Suisse où elle chorégraphie une dizaine de pièces et réalise des commandes pour des festivals, compagnies de danse ou de théâtre en France et à l’international.
Depuis 2019, elle accompagne Elodie Perrin en production pour les artistes Eszter Salamon, Katerina Andreou, Nina Santes ou Ola Maciejewska.
En tant que pédagogue, elle dispense des masterclass et workshops chorégraphiques au Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse de Paris, Centre national de la danse Lyon, Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance, Victorian College of the Arts, K-Arts Seoul. Elle est également jury pour les concours d’entrée du CNSMD Paris ou lors des comités de sélection/auditions pour divers compagnies de danse.
Kylie Walters détient un Bachelor en Arts (Danse Performance) du Victorian College of the Arts, University of Melbourne et un Master 2 en Science de la santé publique de la London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, University of London. En tant que consultante, elle travaille sur plusieurs missions de communication stratégique avec l’Organisation mondiale de la santé ou La Croix-Rouge Programmes Internationaux (Asie-Pacifique).

Kylie Walters’ artistic career spans the dance, theatre and music worlds. She has worked with major dance and theatre companies including Ultima Vez, Forced Entertainment, DV8 Physical Theatre or Alias Company, and is a regular artistic collaborator with the choreographers and theatre directors Guillaume Bailliart, Davis Freeman, Nicole Seiler, Yvan Rihs or Anne Bisang. Kylie Walters also works with the musicians Sébastian Martel, Pierre Omer or KMA Rock and with filmmakers such as Miranda Pennell, Wim Vandekeybus, Raymond Vouillamoz, Vincent Pluss or Pascal Magnin appearing in shorts, features and TV films.
Artistic director of Swiss-based dance-company Ornithorynque from 2005-2015, she produced ten choreographic works and commissions for festivals, dance and theatre companies in France and abroad. Since 2019, Kylie Walters has accompanied French producer Elodie Perrin on production for the choreographers Eszter Salamon, Katerina Andreou, Nina Santes or Ola Maciejewska.
Kylie Walters has led master classes and choreographic workshops for students and professionals at dance institutions including the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse de Paris, Centre national de la danse Lyon, Atelier de Paris, Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance, Victorian College of the Arts, Melbourne, K-Arts Seoul. She has also sat on the jury for the Paris National Conservatory of Music and Dance entrance examinations and on selection committees for numerous dance and film audition/casting processes.
Kylie Walters holds a Bachelor of Arts in Dance Performance from the Victorian College of the Arts, University of Melbourne, and a Master of Science in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, University of London. In parallel to her artistic career, she has worked with the World Health Organization and Australian Red Cross International Programs (Asia Pacific) as a consultant for strategic public health communications. In 2018, she instigated She Moves Events, developing the architecture for a series of international events dedicated to women’s rights.
