The full-time course takes two years to complete and is composed of two semesters in Lyon and two semesters in Hamburg, which are arranged to suit the needs of the student’s research project and its performance.

Subjects are arranged in teaching units which are organised by semester. When a subject is validated the student earns ECTS credit points. The number of points and the conditions for obtained them are defined for each different subject. (notice and ECTS chart of the common master of composition are available online)

Tuition fees are payable each semester to the institution where the student is studying for that semester.
Rates of fees are the same as those normally applied by each institution.

Diploma

Students who complete the programme successfully are awarded a ‘Grade de Master’ diploma (officially recognised as being equivalent to a university master’s degree).

It is awarded to students who have obtained 120 ECTS credit points and satisfied all the conditions laid down in the academic regulations of the institution. It will be completed by a diploma supplement attesting the binational dimension of the programme.
