International master's programmes

The CoPeCo master’s programme is organised by four higher musical institutions in four different European countries

• Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg – Hamburg University of Music and Theatre (Germany)
• Kungliga Musikhögskolan i Stockholm – Royal College of Music in Stockholm (Sweden)
• Conservatoire National Supérieur Musique et Danse de Lyon – CNSMD de Lyon (France)
  

CoPeCo is an European itinerant master’s programme for musicians who wish to explore a new approach of their artistic practice by experiencing new music and new technologies, improvisation, and collaboration with other art forms. CoPeCo is a platform for innovative and collaborative artistic research based on the crossing of skills and cultures.

Within a collective context gathering young artists, the CoPeCo programme offers its students the possibility to focus on their individual projects, enriched by the inputs and resources of the four academic partners involved in the programme:

The CoPeCo joint master’s programme is part of the Lyon CNSMD’s 2nd cycle programmes.

Application calendar for tuition starting in the Fall term 2020

• Dec 1, 2019 - Jan 19, 2020: administrative registration online on the CNSMD de Lyon platform (only for applicants wishing to enroll in the CNSMD de Lyon)
• Dec 1, 2019 – Jan 31, 2020: submission of the portfolio (for all applicants) on the CoPeCo common platform
• Feb 28, 2020: results of 1st round applications (the email of acceptance will include the invitation for the 2nd round live)
• March-April 2020: rounds of live auditions in the 4 institutions (sound and video recorded)
• Mid-March 2020: 2nd round auditions live at CNSMD de Lyon (or via visio-conference) for applicants wishing to enroll in the CNSMD de Lyon
• April 2020: gathering of results from all partner institutions
• By April 24, 2020: final results available after international commission (3rd round)
