State training tax

The state training tax is a tax paid by French companies to a government office which subsequently redistributes the money collected to officially recognised training institutions. The CNSMD is one such institution and is thus authorised to receive payments corresponding to the tax.

The training tax is used to finance expenses needed for the development of teaching, vocational training and apprenticeships.

It is used by the Lyon CNSMD to add to its stock of instruments and to ensure that the equipment of the conservatory corresponds to its ambitions of excellence.
