Being an exchange student at the CNSMDL
Due to its tradition of innovation and conviviality, the Lyon CNSMD has become over the last fifteen years one of the most recognizable names in the field of international cooperation.
The Lyon CNSMD has signed student exchange agreements with more than 70 partner institutions all over the world and plays a leading role in the implementation of European joint study programmes.
We are signatory to the Erasmus Charter and we are an active member of the AEC (Association of European Conservatoires).

InMICS (International Master in composition for screen)
The CNSMD de Lyon pursues the internationalisation of its programmes by opening InMICS (International Master in Composition for Screen) with educational and professional partners in Belgium, Italy and Canada.

The Erasmus+ programme
All students at the conservatory can do a study abroad period either through an Erasmus+ partnership or through a non-Erasmus bilateral agreement. There are no limits with regard to age or nationality.

Here are the instructions for Lyon CNSMD students wishing to take part in an Erasmus+ exchange.
Master’s in composition
This new master’s program, which is supported and financed by the Université Franco-Allemande, is the result of close collaboration between the Lyon CNSMD and the Hochschule für Musik und Theater, Hamburg. The project is currently postponed, waiting for a potential renewal of the Université Franco-Allemande’s support.
CoPeCo (Contemporary Performance and Composition)
An itinerant master’s programme in performance and composition offered by four European partner institutions.

Presentation
Over the last ten years the Lyon CNSMD has built up a network of confidence and excellence with nearly seventy partner institutions. It has done so because its strategy of opening its doors, sharing and innovating. Student mobility symbolises this desire to open up the conservatory to the rest of the world and it is at the very centre of the activities of the International Relations Office.
